Jessica Schmitt joined Manna Tree in 2026 as Managing Director of Capital Formation and brings over 15 years of fundraising and investor relations experience. In this role, she is responsible for building and managing relationships with the firm’s investors, driving fundraising efforts, and conveying the firm’s differentiated investment approach.
Before joining Manna Tree, Jessica led the Investors Relations team at Waud Capital Partners, a growth-oriented private equity firm focused on healthcare and software buyout investments, where she led all fundraising, investor relations, and communication efforts for the firm. Before joining Waud Capital, Jessica served as the first Head of Investor Relations at Arrowroot Capital, a global growth equity firm focused on investments in enterprise SaaS companies. While at Arrowroot, she built out the fundraising and investor relations functions. Jessica spent the first nine years of her career at The Riverside Company, where she became a senior member of the Investor Relations and Fundraising team, working with investors globally across buyout, growth, structured capital, and credit strategies. Jessica received a BA in Political Science from Loyola Marymount University.
Jessica lives in Los Angeles, CA with her spouse, two children, golden retriever and her desert tortoise. Outside of work, Jessica enjoys live music, cooking, travel, F1, and finding any excuse to be in nature.
